Finals conduct - players, officials, parents and spectators

Congratulation to everyone in the finals, it’s going to be a great day for the Dragons I can just feel it!

At the YJFL Presidents meeting on Thursday night we were asked to remind our club community of the expectations in terms of on and off the field conduct during finals. It’s an exciting time where nerves and tensions can be heightened but please take it all into perspective and lead by the example our Junior football players deserve.

Please ensure you all conduct yourselves within the rules of the YJFL and junior sport. The YJFL will be issuing penalties where behaviour and conduct is outside of these rules. Penalties aside, we ask that we all keep winning in perspective and play by the rules to make Brunswick proud. The committee will be following up any reports where behaviour is outside of what is acceptable under the rules of the YJFL, our club and junior sport.

For those volunteering as trainers, runners, boundary and goal umpires tomorrow be very aware that the YJFL has observed coaching and commenting occurring during the season which is outside of the rules and they WILL NOT be tolerating any official roles stepping outside of their official game day role during the game. Please be very mindful of this at all times during the game.

Enjoy the atmosphere and excitement, support our wonderful playing group and Go Dragons!!!!!
